My heart is heavy thinking about the children going to band camp in New York. They got on that bus without any thoughts of how bad the day would turn out. I am sure they were excited. The parents put them on that bus thinking of how blessed they were to get to experience the joy of music.
One mechanical issue and their day was completely changed. We need to pray for the family members of those educators that lost their lives in that catastrophe. We need to pray for those children.
We also need to remember that our lives can change in a split second. Mine has several times over the course of my life. We need to all be prayed up and ready for the next chapter of our existence. We also need to feel empathy and compassion when we watch the news. Pray without ceasing.
