I was thinking this morning. We have a responsibility to the young people of this world to pray for them with everything in us. The evangelical community has been too involved in several things that has put barriers between us and young people. The evangelical community has been too involved in things that have put barriers between my generation and young people.
For example, the church has been so involved in politics. The politics that the church is promoting is not the same political views as a lot of the young people. That difference built a wall. Our mission is the salvation of the souls. Jesus did not hang on a cross to put a particular political party into power. Another hindrance, is some ministries are focused on prosperity. Again, Jesus did not hang on a cross to make some minister rich.
The mission of the church is salvation. The work of the Christian is to help and assist those in need. Our loss of our mission and vision is one of the primary reasons we are you losing our young people. It must stop!
