Multiple Ways to View Our Makeup

I have listened to preacher make a very big deal about the tri-partite man. I have listened to other preacher make a very big deal of flesh and spirit. Those appear to be at odds. How can that be? The scripture, which they are quoting, is inerrant.
It hit me yesterday. This is just like looking at music. You can define music its instrumentation. That is one dimension. You can define music by its harmony. That is another dimension. You can define music by its meter and rhythm. That is yet another dimension.
Each of these views do not invalidate the other. This is the same way the Word of God defines us in these multiple views.
