People are More than What You See

Everyone my age has spent some time watching The Beverly Hillbillies. We all laughed at Jethro Bodine childishly stumbling through math. However, the actor, Max Baer Jr., had a very firm grip on math. He wrote and produced Macon County Line in 1974. He spent $100,000 to produce it and it grossed 25 million at the box office. It had the record for being the highest profit margin of any movie until 1999. People are more than what you see.

Do not be hasty in your judgement — “don’t be in a hurry to go to court. For what will you do in the end if your neighbor deals you a shameful defeat?” (Proverbs 25:8 NLT).
